Afternoon Flash Rain
While at the Chapel NYC pop up last week the weather decided it couldn't take the humidity anymore and clouds released a generous amount of rainfall in a short period. Not wanting to waste the moment, Patrick talked me into running outside to dance around. I quickly grabbed my camera and gave it to Jonas, who happened to be sitting outside to document the entire rain dance.
I love what he got in just a few snaps, running around Patrick and I as we ran about in the street avoiding cabbies, bikers and pedestrians alike who were all trying to find shelter. Something about these photos is so classic New York summer to me. In the moment I felt like a child parading in the stream of a burst fire hydrant- anything to cool down in the thick heat.
